Amanda Kimmel Pre-merge, Amanda’s tribe never won a single challenge. This meant her tribe had a significant disadvantage when they made the merge. Despite this -and a bit of luck from a self vote from Eliza, she managed to get back into the game. Her opposition virtually believed everything she told them and this got her alliance right back into the game. Just when it looked like the game was in her control, Stephen used a prize on her and Ozzy which meant only those two were able to be voted out. Despite this, the majority voted 4-2 for Ozzy to go but on that same day, Ozzy had found the Hidden Immunity Idol which guaranteed his safety. This has made Amanda one of the more unlucky contestants in our series for all the hardwork she put in.

Ozzy Lusth Ozzy was widely seen as Amanda’s second in command but was seen as alot more villainous than her and was not as respected. Because of this, he required a Hidden Immunity Idol to survive a “vote off” against Amanda. Despite his own alliance turning against him, he managed to take control once Amanda left. He was constantly at war with Yau-Man trying to flip him over and managed to convince Yau to give him an Immunity which he used at Final 5. This got him to the Final 4 after he had been blindsided with his closest remaining ally in Coach leaving. Sandra and Yau-Man - who were in his alliance - turned on him which tied the vote 2-2 as Shane kept his word to Ozzy and voted Sandra. However he ultimately lost in a Tiebreaker which ended his brilliant recovery after he played his HII.

Sandra Diaz-Twine Throughout the season, Sandra managed to find strong alliances and stay loyal to them till she knew she had to make a move. This has made her (somewhat surprisingly) the All Star who has voted with the majority the most amount of times in terms of a percentage with 90%. Because of her strong UTR play, the jury thought she had done nothing all game and was seen as an “easy beat.” However her strong Final Tribal Council performance resulted in her convincing the jury that she had indeed played a strong game and this meant she was one vote away from tying the jury vote and potentially winning.

Shane Powers Not only did Shane win his season, but he pretty much won everything else. Being forced to win immunity from F8 onwards, he managed to do this, winning 5 immunities in a row. Proving himself to be a team player as well, his tribe never lost immunity during the tribal phase thanks to his strong challenge ability. While his physical game was one of the best seen in the series, socially he was loved by almost everyone. This was partly due to the fact his immunity run (and lack of strategic play) meant he never annoyed anyone. Despite a strong Final Tribal Council performance from Sandra where she exposed his strategic weaknesses, he won the game in the end thanks to his strong physical and social game which made him our first male winner.
