1. Was there not the option of leaving a boot list?
2. No friends he could use access for?
3. No library/cafe or anything with internet access he could use?
That is my point, if he really wanted to get on to vote, it could happen and if not he could have had a boot list to make sure he never self voted.

I'm not God, I would not have known I would lose my internet. I didn't leave a boot list because I thought for sure I would be there before the voting ends all the time.
2. No friends he could use access for?
Unlike you, its not as easy as just walk over to the neighbors to see if friends have access to internet. I live in the Philippines, not all people have internet access.
3. No library/cafe or anything with internet access he could use?
I got an internet subscription for the sole purpose of avoiding these places since its expensive. I'm not gonna spend my money just so I can vote for a game. Between life and the game I would choose life since I don't live on a rich bank account nor I can afford to use my food money for cafes.

Make sure u do a bootlist... cause I am like u, I never predicted I would miss the deadline at any time (which I didnt, but u never know what can happen), but sometimes things happen and like u said, its not worth it to run around to find some other computer... So I definitely suggest u make a bootlist in AS just in case something happens... as they say on BB... expect the unexpected! |
